Other Activities
There are so many activities in the area it is hard to list them all. Below listed are just a selection; the tourist offices are more than happy to assist you in finding any other activities you would like to do and can also give you further information of any of the below.
Driving Tours - The tourist office in Bagneres-de-Biggore has maps of driving routes taking in the area surrounding the Campan Valley, ranging from between 80 and 100 kilometers they are a great way to see the landscape and area. The information from the tourist office also notes the places of interest and provides lists of restaurants en-route.
Horse Riding – For all ages in the Campan valley and also in Bareges.Mini Golf – In Bagneres-de-Bigorre.
Swimming – Bareges has an open air pool (open summer only) and there is also a 25m indoor pool in Bagneres-de-Bigorre.
Tennis – Tennis courts can be found in several of the small villages in the area.
Fishing – There is loads of fishing, all you need is a permit which can be purchased from the Campan tourist office. The season starts on the 1st of March and costs roughly €7 per day or 30€ for a week. The area is particularly renowned for trout fishing and if you do not fancy catching one yourself you can buy fresh fish out of a lake from the local fish farm located on the road from Bagneres-de-Bigorre to La Mongie at the Lesponny Valley turn (this is a real French experience!).

Vertige de L’Adour – This is a series of daring wire bridges, monkey bridges, swings that criss cross over the River Adour. Situated just up the valley from the Chalet this is definitely one for the brave or crazy!!
L’aya Parc acrobatique forrstries – An outdoor adventure park with zip wires, climbing nets and assault course type obstacles to clamber over. One for both adults and children to swing around in the trees like Monkeys!
